Arigato, Japonia 47. America Mura, Osaka / Arigato, Japan! 47. America Mura, Osaka

The Hearton Hotel Shinsaibashi is strategically positioned very near the Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade, America Mura and Dotonbori. A standard single room is 7400 yen/night. It’s not very cheap but every objective is handy.

I walked 2-3 minutes to the America Mura. A zone of depots, around the ’70 it was transformed in an area where young antreprenours opened small shops, selling imported clothes and other goods. Now there are a lot of cafes, restaurants in the area. It is a meeting point for young people, especially the little Triangle Park.

Electric poles in form of humans have been installed in 50 points. The American symbols are also represented both by brands like Starbucks and  McDonald’s and by the Liberty’s Statueon a block! One of the wall has a modern mural, entitled “Peace on Earth” (author: Seitaro Kuroda, 1983).

Statuia Libertatii in American Mura
Cat despre moda, va las sa judecati singuri:

I always like to see unique shops when I visit another country, however if it turns into a disappointing experience, there's always Starbucks to fall back on :-)
