Arigato, Japonia! 48. Ce fel de muzee sunt in Osaka? / Arigato, Japan! 48. What Kind of Museums Do You Find in Osaka?

Osaka is rich in museums, so I went to visit some. I also wanted to see the modern architecture and museums here are modern buildings.

The National Museum of Arts was opened in the new building on 2007. The architect Cesar Pelli thought a metallic structure which represent the bamboo growth. I saw it more like a giant dragonfly. The museum is under the surface, which is unusual. Modern Japanese artists but also Cezanne and Picasso can be admired. The entrance is 420 yen and the opening hours are 10 - 16.30

Nearby, The Science Museum can be visited, after paying the entrance fee of 400 yen. It is interactive and very educative for children. The first technical museum was opened in Osaka on 1937, but this one appeared on 1989.

In curand problema e rezolvata.

I can honestly say that the exterior of this museum really do not like. All these strands of steel I find just plain ugly. The inside of the museum is much nicer :-)

So is modern architecture sometimes, Helma. Not necessarily beautiful... Yes, inside it was also a photo exhibition which I enjoyed:) Thanks for the visit.

I like the different designs in the architecture. One of my favorite things to see when I visit a new city.
