Vacanta in Muntenegru 11. Ada Bojana / Montenegrin Vacation 11 Ada Bojana

Toward the end of the Velika Plaz, there is a place famous in Europe, named Ada Bojana. It is famous due to the big nudists' beach, on a little artifial island created between the two arms of the Buna River. In the 19th. century, a ship called Merito wrecked here. In time, the alluvial deposits created the island.

One arm of the river is bridged, connecting Velika Plaz with Ada Bojana Island. In this place, a lot of vacation houses were built amid the lush vegetation. We had a nice walk there. They practice here an ancient method of fishing, using "kalimeras", those nets you may see on the photos.
The place is also famous for the nice restaurants on the river, serving mainly fish specialties. It is a place were tourists from Ulcinj may have a nice dinner.

Aici, raul Buna se varsa in Marea Adriatica, bifurcandu-se in doua brate.

Thank you, ruma, for the appreciation.
