Calator in Thailanda 8. Mandala House, Chiang Mai / Traveller in Thailand 8. Mandala House, Chiang Mai

I choosed the accommodation in Chiang Mai on booking.com. It was a triple room, with TV, AC, safety box, and minibar at a price of 1250 bht/night, aprox. 31 euros, breakfast included.
Mandala House is a guest house, with a little own restaurant, situated very convenient between the Old Town and the Night Bazaar. The staff is nice and helpful.

You may see their site here: http://www.mandalachiangmai.com/home.html

langa Mandala House

In apropierea sa sunt multe locuri in care poti manca. Micul dejun a fost inclus in costul cazarii. Personalul este amabil, oferind informatii si aranjand, la cerere, transport in diverse locuri.

Curand am putut intra in camera curata si primitoare.
Culoarele pensiunii adaposteau mobilier thailandez traditional si mici sculpturi.

A fost o pensiune mica si draguta, foarte bine plasata in oras, Dani.

Love the banana shot!

Traveling Hawk said...

Like other countries in Asia they have only the short/small type of bananas, Randy.

A good bargain, so cheap for you guys from the west but just reasonable for us! But really nice place! I need to lookup this place as i will be going there after chinese new year !

Traveling Hawk said...

Ha, Ha, Wong! You include me in the category of "guys from the west"?! Romania is a former socialist/communist country, which switched the systems only in 1989, through a bloody revolution, which started right in my town. Just now, RO is one of the poorest country in Europe due to poor government. But anyhow, compared with the prices in the western countries from Europe, that price was OK for 3 persons.

Looks like my kind of place... charming and personal.

[I just posted about a painted church in Mărginimea Sibiului. I was not able to find much information about the church, and it doesn't help that I lost my notes, so I don't remember exactly which town it was in. But it was definitely close. but not in, Boite. Should you have any further information, I'd be happy if told me, on the post or email. Thanks... and "see" you again when I get out of China.]
