Povestiri din Rajahsthan 16. Cazare in Jaisalmer, India / Stories of Rajahsthan 16. Accommodation in Jaisalmer, India

The last photos of this post will show you why I wanted to write about our accommodation in Jaisalmer.

The Royale, is built in haveli style and it lies at the foot of the fortress. There are few tourists in that area but the place is well situated, at 10 min walk to the main gate of the fortress. A swimming pool is surely nice in summer but even now a pair was sunbathing there. Sometimes, some strange visitors pop their heads on the entrance door...

The most attractive place is the roof restaurant. Not only because you may see the whole fortress and other surroundings but also you may watch splendid sunrises. It is a magic moment. Birds are flying soundless. Fog is hanging over the houses till the sky change color and then, the first sun beams come out... There are only few minutes, as color changes dramatically, but those minutes stay with you for a lifetime...

La Jaisalmer am stat doua nopti intr-un hotel construit in stil haveli, numit The Royale.

The last eight images are very beautiful. Same with you, my friend, this kind of scenes will stay with me for a lifetime.

Oh, the man on the top of the table, I would do the same just for photography. Hahaha.

The tile floor of the pool is a Mickey Mouse, that made me smile.

This is an amazing series of photos. I didn't expect Micky Mouse.

I could only read the part in English, but loved the pictures!

I am in India and yet to visit Jaisalmer, feel quite jealous of you :)

Rizalenio, it seems we have an eye for the same kind of things. Thanks for the kind words!

Siddhartha Joshi: thank you for visiting my site. Jaisalmer is much nearer for you than it is my country, Romania. I see you live in Gujarat, the neighbour province of Rajahsthan, and you are in consultancy, so I think you will see Jaisalmer too one day! I wish this for you!

Me :) It was a nice subject, wasn't he?

Aproape i-as spune locatia perfecta!
